With dual bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and business management, Dave’s career spans 10 years in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as an aerospace machinist and commissioned engineering officer, followed by five years managing aerospace business units at Australia’s RAAF Base Amberley. His expertise in precision machining, CAD/CAM, CNC, and operations management has shaped his unique approach: Aerospace Methodology Meets Motorsport Application.
From investigating engine defects for A4K Skyhawks to manufacturing avionics heat exchangers for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, Dave’s aerospace pedigree ensures every Wilson Engineering component is built with fool-proof quality.
